Retire 19
Dear Charlie,
Thank you for your unforgettable service to mankind. NASA, and all the rest of humanity thanks you for the risk you took to save us.
We look forward to working with you in the future. The FTL-ship is only the beginning. You have been a great asset to us. Without you none of this would’ve been possible. We owe you never ending thanks.
See you soon.

Top Secret Rescue Mission
“I don’t mean to be a doomsday prophet, but this theory is very underdeveloped. My calculations only stipulate how particles with mass can move faster than light. Dead particles. I said that biological life could not survive if even one minor error was made. We are risking everyone’s lives to try this. Professor Jane, I need Moorland to send me everything they have. We need to search for flaws in their design ourselves. I won’t get on a ship I don’t know everything about and I definitely will not make any calculations for the journey.” You point towards the screen where you and Moorland spoke earlier.
The team spends the next week working with ground control to ensure that the ship is as safe for transporting biological life.
