Retire 19
Dear Charlie,
Thank you for your unforgettable service to mankind. NASA, and all the rest of humanity thanks you for the risk you took to save us.
We look forward to working with you in the future. The FTL-ship is only the beginning. You have been a great asset to us. Without you none of this would’ve been possible. We owe you never ending thanks.
See you soon.

Top Secret Rescue Mission
“I’ve never had cookies this good.” You said while floating behind Professor Scot to the American Sleeping Stations in Nodule two.
Professor Jane is in her sleeping station unpacking her bags.
“Hey, Jane, thought you were in Destiny. This is the kid. Are you really going to sleep now?” Professor Scot stables himself and scratches his forehead.
“Don’t frown like that, Professor. I’m not going to sleep! If I sleep the world dies. I came to get those plans we drew. We got here safely, now we need to start thinking about the next big challenge ahead of us.
Let me tell you something, kid, your sleep station is next to mine, but you won’t be using it. You didn’t come here as a tourist. Stop wasting time, pack your things and get to work.
Professor, tell the crew they have an hour to get to Destiny.” Professor Jane looks fiercer than ever before as she points her finger in all directions angrily and starts to float away from you.
She disappears into the next nodule.
“Is she usually this grim? Destiny is the American lab, right?” You ask pointing to the connection tunnel leading to Destiny.
“Ki…Charlie, that was her being friendly. And yes it’s our lab, let’s go get your things.” He gestures politely for you to follow him back to the docking nodule. He was so eager to show you around that neither of you took your luggage in.
You go back to your sleeping station and strap your laptop to the wall. You roll your sleeping bag up neatly as you look around for a good space to put your clothes. When everything is in exactly the place you wanted, and as neat as could be on this chaotically organised ship, you say to yourself, I’m ready to work. Jumping out of your sleeping station and flying into the nodule above you, you make your way to Destiny.
